Just a few miles south of Hunstanton in the village of Heacham, Norfolk Lavender is England's premier lavender farm and home to the National Collection of Lavender. The site is open year-round, but visit between mid-June and mid-August to see the famous fields in full bloom — a sea of purple that's as photogenic as it is fragrant. As well as distillery tours, there's a farm shop, tearoom, rare breeds animal centre, and a well-stocked gift shop selling the farm's own lavender products.
