Hunstanton, or "Sunny Hunny" as it's affectionately known, is one of England's most unique seaside destinations, and the only west-facing resort on the entire east coast. That single geographical quirk sets it apart from every other Norfolk beach town. 

The town was purpose-built as a Victorian resort in 1846 by the Le Strange family, and much of that original charm has been lovingly preserved.

There are two sides to the town: the lively seafront, with its sandy beach, amusements, pony rides, fish and chips, and summer theatre; and then the quieter, more genteel Victorian quarter, where a gentle stroll through the gardens feels a world away from the arcades.

Beyond the town itself, Hunstanton is perfectly placed for exploring the wider North Norfolk Coast — Holkham Beach, Wells-next-the-Sea, Brancaster, Burnham Overy Staithe, and the Titchwell Marsh RSPB Reserve are all within easy reach along the coastal A149.
